Jerusalem Rocking-1

This painting was inspired by modern Jerusalem, in contrast with the historical, religious space that informs most of my paintings. My daughter lives in Jerusalem, and since she lives in the city center, I have been able to experience the city from a different perspective. Jerusalem Rocking is my interpretation of youth in Jerusalem.  It was inspired by an area called station One, a place with lots of eateries, bars, shows, and shops, and a lot of foot traffic.
