Miriam and the Tambourine1II

Miriam in biblical sense was Moses sister, throughout  this period we encounter the heroine Miriam symbolized. She was considered a prophet. In this depiction Miriam is leading her group of women friends with a Toumborin in a play of dance and happiness. This was a time of hurry and chaotic stage, for the Israelites were leaving Egypt.
