(continued from Home Page)   With all the chaos of this city, I will forever see Jerusalem as the ultimate city of gold. Today’s Jerusalem contains sophisticated, modern architecture such as the “cored bridge,” along renewed, ancient roads, stone tunnels and arches – old meets new, chaos meets calm, ancient religion meets a modern, hustle and bustle of new life. I’m also approaching Jerusalem not just as an Israeli, Sephardi woman, but as a Savtah who sees it as the home of her children and grandchildren – and my new style of paintings reflect this new generation that will experience Jerusalem of new and old.
