Hills of Jerusalem-2

The hills of Jerusalem takes on a life of their own at different times of the day, due to the sun’s reflection on the historic Jerusalem stone. Many years ago, I participated in an organized trip of the old city culminated at the high point of Ramat Rachel, which provided a beautiful lookout. At the time, I kept taking pictures, hoping to depict the light and perspective of the city. These paintings attempt to capture the hills of Jerusalem in different times of day, playing with light and dark.
